Hunt Highlights.

Susie flying from a tree.

In the early stages of the bird's training it is quite common for the them to chase their quarry, once sighted, from a great distance. Unfortunately, not all birds are successful at catching their quarry at this stage of their training and often return to their handlers fist safe in the knowledge that they will provide them with food if they have been unsuccessful in catching their own.

A day hunting with Highland Falconry not only allows you to experience the thrill of watching and flying a hawk of your own, it also allows you to take in some of the most breathtaking scottish countryside. Our falconers take this opportunity to take time out from their training and appreciate the beauty of their surrounds before returning back to the Centre with the birds where the day is finished off with another very enjoyable tradition, a wee dram of Scotland's finest malt whisky.
