A typical hunting day with Highland Falconry takes clients out into the
beautiful Perthshire countryside with our experienced falconers. We
endeavour not only make your hunting experience exciting but to make your
day with us relaxed and enjoyable. On this hunting trip Peter and Craig are
actually using this day as an opportunity to train their young birds and, as
you can see, they even have time for a bit of hilarity.

These young Harris's, at the tender age of 20 weeks, are being introduced to
ferrets as they are used on our hunting trips to bolt rabbits from their
holes if they are scarce in the open field. It is normal practice for our
falconers to use ferrets on a hunting day but do appreciate that some
clients might prefer to hunt the birds without them as not everybody is
comfortable with these small furry animals.
