Displays, Gala's & Corporate Events.

The picture below on the right shows head falconer Mr. Peter Hanlon working with a Peregrine x Lanner Falcon in preparation for that days display at the centre.

Once a bird has reached sufficient level to be comfortable flying in the display environment it has already undergone many hours of training and flying with groups of people present.

This is backed with regular flight skill workouts for the birds and it is during one of the birds favored activities chasing a lure that this image has been taken.

Outwith the displays at the Centre, our birds are flown in display at local highland games, galas, fete's and various other events.

Highland Falconry will bring along their birds to your event, display them statically and/or put on a flight display. We endeavor to make our flight displays as interesting and entertaining as possible and like to include the participation of the audience.
Watch in amazement as our team of aerobatic Harris Hawks' fly in unison as they would in their natural habitat. Be the brave one in the audience who participates in the flight games our Harris Hawks perform.

Our displays also include the flying of falcons which in contrast to our hawks, stoop to a lure at speeds of up to 80 mph and are magnificent birds to watch. Lastly, the kids favorite's, our Owls, always popular with our audiences. Our owl flight displays encourage the kids of the audience to participate and you can guarantee them to be unpredictable.

Mums and dads are always keen to put their kids forward but would they come forward themselves?
But be warned if you are one of these parents you might just be in for a surprise.
